About Kevin McCauley

Kevin McCauley has a lifetime of experience building and designing extremely beautiful custom homes. His education was through hands on experience starting as a teenager. He worked his way up by digging and forming foundations and helping to haul lumber by hand for the carpenters to frame. He fondly remembers when the foreman gave him his first shot at 14. It was to frame a bathroom wall. Instantly, he dropped the lumber he’d been hauling to grab his tool belt and began on that small wall. Standing back from the finished wall he felt pride. When the foreman came over to inspect it, he was very impressed with young Kevin’s solid work. However, he stated next time the medicine cabinet should be framed above the sink not under it! Despite this, Kevin still continued to move up, becoming a framer that summer and the beginning of a life long passion and career.

As a practicing artist, Kevin considers every project a large canvas and each home he designs a work of art. A perfectionist in both design and craftsmanship with a passion for the details, it’s no wonder his reputation proceeds him.
